A simple, beautiful website to get you started

You don't have a website yet and perhaps now is the time. Every time someone asks "do you have a website?" there's a little wince, and a promise to yourself that you'll sort it soon. Meanwhile you're sending people to Instagram, or a Google Doc, or nothing at all.

You don't need a big, sprawling site with ten pages you'll never update. You need something manageable, warm, and genuinely yours: a home for your business online that tells people who you are, what you offer, and how to get in touch. That's exactly what I build.

  • Homepage – a warm, clear introduction to you and your business, so visitors immediately know they're in the right place

  • 1 x Sales page – where you explain what you offer and gently guide people towards booking or buying

  • About page – the page people read when they're deciding whether to trust you, so it needs to sound like you

  • Contact page – simple and easy

  • SEO Basics with an option to upgrade - SEO is what gets your website showing up in search results

As an affordable web designer, I build every website by adapting a template available through Squarespace - I believe it can be the right choice when you're starting out and not needing all the bells and whistles…yet!

A template gives us the underlying structure and layout, the bones of the site. What makes it yours is everything I build on top of it: your brand colours and fonts, your photography, your words, and the way I shape the layout so it actually fits how you talk about your business. I choose a template with you in mind from the start, then adapt it to fit with you and your business goals.

The upside for you is: it's quicker to get live, far more affordable than a fully custom build, and it's built on a foundation that already works well, loads quickly, and is set up with search engines in mind.

For a first website, that's exactly what you need: something considered and lovely, without paying for hours of design work you don't need yet. And because it's Squarespace, it's yours to log into and update yourself afterwards.
