"Working with Clare on my first-ever website has been an incredibly positive experience. With my limited knowledge of web design, I was honestly a bit daunted by the process—but Clare guided me through every step with patience, clarity, and genuine support."
Alissa Swedlow Stationery

I couldn't be happier with the beautiful website that Clare created for my calligraphy and wedding stationery business.
Not only did she create a website that truly reflects me and my design aesthetic, she also asked me thoughtful questions that helped me to reflect on my own goals and overall vision for my business.
In thinking about who I wanted this website to attract to my business, it was a wonderful way to solidify my goals as a business owner and we had such helpful conversations around making sure my messaging was cohesive across all of my platforms.
Clare truly took into account everything that I said and brought it to life with my website, all while teaching me about SEO and how to attract my ideal clients.
Clare was so clear, thoughtful, communicative and organized throughout the process and I'm so grateful for Clare's insight, design and expertise!

I'm so happy I found Clare! She created a beautiful, easy-to-use website that supports and elevates my work.
She is a fantastic communicator and ideal collaborator; she listened carefully to my needs and vision, then used her creativity and knowledge to bring it all to life.
Each step of the way, she gave me detailed updates, asked my opinion, and let me know where she was on our timeline (always ahead of schedule).
I can’t say enough good things about her, Clare is just a joy to work with.

“I am so grateful for Clare’s help with my SEO, Google Business listing, and general backend assistance. These kinds of things do NOT come naturally to me, as much as I’ve tried to figure them out on my own. I notice a marked difference in my website traffic each time Clare works her magic. She is also an incredibly kind person, a great listener, and a treasured source of support for me. Hire her - you’ll be glad you did!

“Clare is thorough and understands the back end - you don’t have to! I don’t really want to spend my time even thinking about SEO. I want to spend it doing what I’m good at and what I love. With Clare, she takes care of all of it and truly cares about my business and the progress that is being made.
Clare’s competence, creativity and reliability have transformed my relationship to my business, freeing me up to focus on the aspects that I enjoy while she takes care of so many details that I don’t want to do, or have the expertise to do.

Simple Life Things: Hosting, Catering + Lifestyle

"Clare supports Simple Life Things on a month-to-month retainer, helping with SEO, blog optimisation, and Google Business Profile management. Her long-term, calm and consistent approach has helped increase our local visibility and led to more event and workshop bookings. Having ongoing support has taken the pressure off and given us confidence that our online presence is working quietly in the background.
If someone was to ask me whether to work with Clare, I’d say: rush, go do it! It’s had a more positive impact on my business than I would have believed would be possible. I’ve seen more return on investment with her than with anything else I’ve done for leads or customer acquisition. She’s amazing and anyone would be lucky to work with her."

Sarah Teresa Cook: Creative Mentor

“Hiring Clare was a no-brainer for me. As a creative mentor, my energy is meant to go toward working directly with my clients—not trying to understand or keep up with SEO.
Clare brings a rare combination of deep expertise and true accessibility: she helps me understand what we’re doing while taking the labor off my shoulders. She also makes a complex, opaque world feel more manageable.
Working with her has freed me to focus on the creative work that’s at the core of my business. I plan to work with Clare for the foreseeable future, and can’t recommend her highly enough.”
